About Alfred Pot

Alfred Pot has been working as a Business Administration Agribusiness teacher at Aeres University of Applied Sciences in Dronten since 2009. In September of 2015, he became the project manager of the Practice=based Research Team.

Alfred studied Logistics at Drenthe University of Applied Sciences, and Business Administration at the University of Groningen. Subsequently, he began his specialisation in logistics in an Operations & Supply Chains master’s programme. He also took a master’s programme in Teaching, qualifying him to teach business administration.

In the Practice=based Research Team, Alfred leads various 1-year and multiyear projects. These are part of the core activities of various professorships, including those of Precision Agriculture, Renewable Energy and Green Raw Materials, and Biobased Economy and Circular Use of Raw Materials. The results of these, mainly innovative, projects flow back into the sector and the study programmes, thereby keeping the programmes that Aeres University of Applied Sciences has to offer up to date.
