Jolien Lelivet has been a member of the Practice-based Research Team since April of 2021. She worked in industry for a while after studying ‘Earth and Environment’ and ‘Aquaculture and Marine Resource Management’ at Wageningen UR.

At Aeres University of Applied Sciences in Dronten, she is currently working on the themes of agricultural soil and water management, Climate Smart Agriculture, and precision agriculture. She also regularly teaches these themes. She is passionate about understanding how the soil and water systems can play a crucial role in sustainably designing rural areas and focuses especially on future challenges, such as the increase of extreme weather, salination and subsidence.
