Kees Westerdijk has been working for Aeres University of Applied Sciences in Dronten since August of 2008. Previously, he was a senior researcher in the field of crop breeding, crop protection and biological control of diseases and plagues at WPR (formerly known as PPO-WUR) in Lelystad. Now he is a specialist in research methodology in the Practice-based Research Team and a project manager of various projects. He focuses on problem analytical and solution-oriented aspects.

Kees is also involved in the development of educational materials. He is especially interested in the development of new precision agriculture methods and in measuring the pressure on lower soil horizon caused by farm machinery.
