Horse stables

Would you like to take your horse with you when you come to study at our University of Applied Sciences (UAS)? You can stall your horse at the Paardenplaats, the horse stables of Aeres UAS Dronten. The stables are located at a mere five-minute bicycle ride from the campus. The Paardenplaats provides you with the facilities to continue training your horse during your studies, and has been a part of Aeres UAS Dronten for more than ten years now.

The Paardenplaats is supervised by Paardencentrum Dronten and is a stable run for and by students. The stables provide a large variety of possibilities for the stalling of horses and for education in practice situations. At the Paardenplaats you can use one of the 40 stalls, the pastures, outdoor riding rings and long lining circle. And, you can also pay to use the facilities of Paardencentrum Dronten, which is located some 80 metres away. The stables are situated nearby the Wisentbos forest where you can enjoy a ride in the open air. You can also take part in the activities run by the  stables’ customers.

  • Spacious saddle rooms, each with its own cabinet and blanket rack

  • Outdoor riding ring with ebb and flow surface, measuring 30 x 60 metres
  • Long lining circle
  • 6 paddocks
  • 12 pastures
