Introduction

The study programme

Today’s dairy farmers have two jobs in one. Besides specialising in the field of dairy farming, they are entrepreneurs with a good head for business. They manage their farms on the basis of cost effectiveness and profitability, while considering globalization, cultural differences, the environmental, and public demand for cows to graze outdoors for a better quality of life. Our exchange programme in International Dairy Management provides you with an international learning experience and the opportunity to add value to your undergraduate programme. It is part of a bachelor’s degree programme with the same name and teaches you all there is to know about managing and developing dairy farms, either as an owner, a manager or an advisor.
